“I like Azealia Banks, I like Nicki Minaj. Those are the girls that are currently in the game. It is the women’s time, but woman are under the illusion that they’re being blocked, so woman have to stop playing man’s game when it comes to the artistic sh-t. They have to just go and do it. Stop worrying about where you fit in. Just go and do it.” #NAS

I know the death Derrick “DEE DEE” Jones took place 3 months ago I just want his story and memory to still be in the land of the living. Derrick Jones was African-American male from East Oakland, California and he was a good family friend of my family! He was a local barber and he owned his own barbershop. He was shot by two OPD policer officers outside his place of business. Derrick, along with Oscar Grant were both two unarmed African-American men murdered by the Oakland Police Department. In both situations, the police have claimed that the two men were armed with a weapon. I honestly think the OPD has officially declared a war on the citizens of Oakland, California.
On March 21, 2009 Four OPD officers were killed by an African-American male and since that day OPD has been used that particular situation as a catalyst. Rather than seeking reasoning and proactive communication to some kind of closure. The OPD is abusing its powers and is taking its it aggression out on innocent African-American men. It is definitely time for our communities to gather on our base and set our tents because we deserve to have a every right to feel safe in our own communities.
Its amazing a society that solely send false accusations about being the land of the free and steady critizes and dehumanizes the African-American culture. For centuries our ancestors contributed blood, sweat and tears to the developing of foundation of the U.S.A. Respect the CHOSEN ONES!

ROMEO + JUILET (1996) Baz Luhrmann
I love this particular scene when Romeo is at the party and he just stealing looks of Juilet through the aquarium and with their amazing chemistry the potential soul mates eyes meet each other through the aquarium. During this scene the song Beyonce’ sings called, “Kissing You”, starts to magicially play within the scene. In my opinion this one of most powerful scenes in the movie. AWWWWW…lol! GR8 movie #amustsee
